Ryan Carpenter - Head Coach
Ryan Carpenter enters his 1st year as the head coach of the Estacada Baseball Program. Before moving to Estacada, Carpenter was the head coach at Grant Union High School during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. During this time running the Grant Union Program his teams made two playoff appearences, won the league championship (09), and made it to the semi finals during the 09 season. Carpenter was also named 2009 Eastern Oregon League Coach of the Year.
Ryan Carpenter began his coaching career at Concordia University (2005) where he served under Rob Vance (an alumni Estacada baseball coach) as a graduate assistant baseball coach. During his year coaching at Concordia, Carpenter worked primarily with the middle infielders and hitters.
A graduate from Centennial High School (Gresham, Oregon), Carpenter attended Eastern Oregon University where he played second base for the baseball team. He was recognized as an all league middle infielder during the 03 and 04 seasons and finished in the top 10 in the region in batting average during those years.
Coach Carpenter is confident that the program will not only be rebuilt from the ground up, but he also belieaves that this team will compete in a tough conference. Carpenter would not only like to build a tradition of success on the field, but would also like to create champions of character in the classroom and around the community as well.
“From the day that I first started playing baseball, I’ve thought of coaching at the high school level,” Carpenter said. “I believe the continuity we will have will be a great thing for the program. All our coaches are going in the same direction in terms of goals and philosophy. We have some great kids and a great qualified staff. I look forward building a baseball program in Estacada.
Ryan Carpenter and His wife Amy have just moved into Clackamas County and are looking to nestle into the Estacada community. They just gave birth to a new born son. A future Estacada bat boy.

Jack Flitcraft - Pitching Coach/Head Assistant
Coach Jack Flitcraft is a major addition and brings much experience to the Estacada Baseball Program. Coach Flitcraft will serve as the head assistant coach and head pitching coach for the Rangers this year. Flitcraft comes from the Gresham High School program where he served as the head baseball coach for 9 seasons. During this time as head coach he made countless playoff appearances and helped develop several college baseball players.
Prior to coaching and teaching at Gresham High School, Flitcraft was a standout collegiate football and baseball player at Western Oregon University. Coach Flitcraft also begun his baseball coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Arizona.

Alex Zenor - Junior Varsity Coach/Outfield Coach
Coach Zenor enters his first year as the head junior varsity coach. Alex is a Estacada graduate who played on the last playoff team under the direction of Randy Gartner. Coach Zenor has coaching experience with the younger levels and is looking forward to making the jump to the high school level. Alex is a great coach with a lot of good ideas of how to build success within the Estacada Baseball Program.
Brian Woodruff - Assistant Infield Coach/1st Base Coach
Coach Woodruff enters his 2nd season as an assistant baseball coach at Estacada. Woodruff works primarily with the Ranger infielders and hitters, and helps with fundraising and field improvements. Coach Woodruff loves the game of baseball and is a huge asset to our baseball program.
Coach Woodruff owns his own business installing pipe insulation as well as building custom fishing rods. He has three children and a lovely wife, all of whom are die hard Estacada Baseball fans.

Randy Stockwell - Assistant Outfield Coach
Randy comes to Estacada to round out the coaching staff as the volunteer assistant coach and will spend time working with outfielders. This is Randy's second year helping with the baseball program. Randy Graduated from Estacada High School in 1986 and played for legendary Ranger coach Larry Grey. Randy will be able to provide knowledgable baseball information to the kids as well as provide as a liason for alumni communications.
Randy had two kids and a lovely wife and have lived in the Estacada community for several years.
